Avi Federgreen (Director, Producer, Co-Writer):

Avi Federgreen’s thirty years of experience in the Canadian film industry includes over seventy films produced. Federgreen’s producing credits include Home Free, One Week, Still Mine, Motherly, For The Sake of Vicious, Clapboard Jungle, Things I Do For Money, Kiss and Cry, Prisoner X, Score: A Hockey Musical, Relative Happiness, How To Plan An Orgy in A Small Town, Moon Point, I’m Yours, Hungry Hills, High Life, Leslie, My Name Is Evil, Lifechanger, Man Running, and Altered Skin to name a few. Federgreen also is the creator of the Indiecan10K & Indiecan20K First Feature Initiatives that have now helped 8 first features get made in Canada. In the Summer of 2019 Federgreen directed his first Short film Red Balloon. Federgreen has since directed two MOW’s, and two episodes of
Network Television. Recently, Federgreen produced and
directed his DREAM Feature film Home Free which is now completed and is being submitted to festivals.

Reese Eveneshen (Co-Writer)
Writer, Director and Producer. 2021 saw the release of the indie-hit action- thriller feature film & Shudder Exclusive, For the Sake of Vicious (Raven Banner, Federgreen Entertainment, Dread Pictures), which was Written and Co-Directed by Eveneshen. The film found critical and international acclaim playing in well over a dozen esteemed film festivals (Fantasia, Sitges, Frightfest, Telluride Horror Show, Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival). Eveneshen’s other credits include, Bounty Hunters (screenwriter. 2011 Anchor Bay Entertainment), Dead Genesis (director, writer. 2011 Black Fawn Films) and Defective (director, writer. 2018 eOne Films, Uncorked Entertainment).

Laura Tremblay (Producer)
Laura Tremblay is a Métis actor, singer, songwriter, writer, director and producer. She has an array of acting roles to her credit, including The Expanse, Ben-Hur , The Price of Fitting In, Jukebox Hero (Mirvish), Legally Blonde The Musical (Stage West Theatre), Evil Dead: The Musical to name a few. Tremblay founded production company Lucky Dime Films in 2016 and has produced numerous film and television projects including: A Dinner Party (CBC Gem), He & Me (Winner of Best Canadian Micro Film at Videodrunk Film Festival in 2019, Winner of Best Cult Film at Queen City Film Festival in 2019, Winner of Best Ultra-Short at Alternative Film Festival in Toronto, 2019, Doors, Motherly, 3pm Thursdays, Nosocomphilia,  and many more. She is currently show running, directing and narrating her second season of Small Town Sins, a true crime documentary series with Bell Fibe TV 1.

Emily Foster (Producer)
Emily Foster is a rising talent in the film industry, distinguished by her passion for storytelling. As an upand- coming producer, Emily has already made notable contributions to the cinematic landscape with her upcoming feature films, Home Free and Fresh Meat. Emily’s other credits include: Associate Producer for the Bell Fibe Series PB With J, Production Manager on the Bell Fibe Series County Blooms and Production Coordinator on Season 6 of Intervention Canada. Emily Foster’s dedication to her craft and diverse skill set position her as an emerging force in the industry, poised to make a lasting impact in the world of film.

Jen Pogue (Producer)
Jen Pogue is a multi-award winning host, creator, actor, producer, and writer. Recent on-screen credits include APPLE TV’s GHOST WRITER, Netflix’s I WOKE UP A VAMPIRE, CTV’s HUDSON & REX, and CBC’s ENDLINGS. Jen has acted and produced on many Canadian indie short and feature projects alongside the film production collective FILMCOOP INC. Their films have premiered at festivals including TIFF, Palm Springs, Raindance, and Whistler; and are currently streaming on Crave Canada, CBC Gem, Prime Video, Highball TV, Super Channel, and much more. Jen is also the creator/showrunner/host of the new lifestyle digital series COUNTY BLOOMS for Bell Fibe TV, of which she recently won Best Host of a Web Program or Series for the 2024 Canadian Screen Awards.  Jen is a Key Collaborator, Patient Advocate, Mentor, and Speaker for RETHINK BREAST CANCER and Patient Partner with CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY, and spends her spare time dreaming up new film and garden projects at her lakeside home in Ontario, alongside her husband and pup.

Julia Tomasone (Producer)
Julia Tomasone, an actor and producer from Toronto, discovered her love for film at a young age and has since passionately pursued opportunities both on and off screen. She starred as the series lead in Disney Channel and Family Channel’s hit series “Backstage” for two consecutive seasons, encompassing 60 episodes. Julia is also known for her performances in Apple TV’s “Ghostwriter,” CBC’s iconic “Street Legal” reboot, and “Murdoch Mysteries.” Currently, she stars in and is filming the feature “Ivan,” directed by Irish filmmaker Damien Fannon and produced by Federgreen Entertainment. As a producer, her works include feature film “Home Free” set to release in 2024, with “Her Last Supper” and short film “Parole” slated for release in 2025.

 

Paul D. Maxwell (Cinematographer)
Associate Member CSC Cinematographer, Paul D. Maxwell has shot 6 Feature Films and 12 Seasons of Television as well as countless music videos and commercials. He is known for his cinematography on the feature films Junkie Run (2024), Fresh Meat (2023), A Thousand Cuts (2023) & Home Free (2023). Starting in Music Videos before moving to long form narrative work, his work has garnered over 100,000,000 views on YouTube and he has shot commercials for Pepsi, Lays, The NHL, Meta, Infiniti and more. His work has taken him to dozens of countries around the world and he has no intention of slowing down

Ben Lee Allan (Editor)
Ben Lee Allan is a Toronto based editor originally from the U.K. He began by editing documentaries for BBC News. Since then, he has moved on to series, and features. Becoming a CFC graduate from the Editor Lab program of 2018. He has edited 12 feature films. He has been nominated for best short film editing for Tigress at the CCE’s and recently got nominated the a CSA for best web series and won best web series editing at the CCE awards for Less Than Kosher

Lydia Ainsworth (Composer)
Lydia Ainsworth is a composer, producer, and singer known for her innovative music blending electro-pop with orchestral elements. Her talent in film scoring is showcased in projects like Sara Cwynar’s “Glass Life” at ICA LA and MoMA NYC, the Sundance-premiered feature ‘The Woods,’ and music contributions to Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3. Lydia’s compositions have also been featured in world wide Apple iPhone campaigns and TV series like TNT’s ‘Good Behavior’ and Freeform’s ‘Motherland Fort Salem.’ Recent highlights include scoring upcoming feature films such as the Billie Mintz documentary “Gold Bars” and Avi Federgreen’s moving narrative “Home Free,” starring famed Canadian actor Art Hindle. 

 

Bea Macapagal (Production Designer)
Bea Macapagal is a production designer, writer, director from Hamilton, Ontario. She studied at Sheridan College’s Media Arts Program where she received the “Best Production Design” award 2 years in a row. After her graduation in 2013, she continued her path in design by working on short films, commercials, and web series. In 2017, Bea co-wrote and directed a short film Midnight Toker that won My RØDE Reel’s “Judge’s Film”, the top prize at this worldwide competition. The following year, Bea was awarded an Ontario Arts Council grant for Emerging Filmmakers to create her short film Norah & Poppy which aired as part of CBC’s Short Film Face-Off in 2021 – 1 of 9 shorts chosen to participate across Canada. During that time, she production designed feature films and commercials for brands like Walmart, Buckley’s, Home Hardware, and MADD – and has been consistently doing that since. Her latest feature film endeavour – Home Free (dir. Avi Federgreen) is a heartfelt family drama taking place in a farmhouse home where decades of memories needed to be seen on screen. Especially challenging; transforming bedrooms into 80’s + 90’s time capsules, full of memories and childhood treasures. A beautifully written, directed, and performed film that she had the pleasure of helping create.
